Okay, so it miiiight be a little early to start talking about spring, I'll admit. Where I live, we have about 3-4 months of winter left, so all of these resort collections hitting stores are just a huge tease. That said, I don't think it's ever too early to look ahead and start planning, and I'm not jumping so far ahead that I'm showing you sundresses & sandals!
This is what's on my radar for spring, and I have to admit that even I'm a little surprised by my choices. Simple, paired down, not overly feminine - I'm longing for throw on & go weekend pieces. And, the items above can (mostly) all transition into spring through this last bit of winter.
Black distressed denim is super high on my wishlist. I keep seeing them pop up on blogs and love them more & more every time. This pretty Free People sweater is currently on its way to me and while I'm not usually a cut-out fan when it comes to clothes I was inexplicably drawn to this sweater!
Yesterday I posted about my love for slip on sneakers, which aren't anything new, but I just ordered this pair for less than $30! (I'm also obsessed with this pointed toe pair and these gold Kate Spade ones!) A white bag with gold hardware is something I lust over every spring/summer, and think I found the most PERFECT one in this Rebecca Minkoff Avery cross body bag.
I'll also be on the hunt for a new spring scent, and I've yet to smell either of these but their descriptions sound just dreamy - Jo Malone's Nectarine Blossom & Honey and D&G 3 L'Imperatrice (I tend to be drawn to citrus-y, fruity scents that are still feminine, so if you have any suggestions let a girl know in the comments!)
Again, espadrilles aren't anything new, but I've been eyeing these Soludos since last summer and might have to make it happen this time 'round. I can't decide between the flats & the wedges, though - thoughts??
And finally, pale pinks & whites on my nails and pretty delicate gold rings to keep things a little on the feminine side!
