Friday felt very much like one of those internet memes you'd see going around about Canadians and spring - it was +6 degrees (not warm by most standards, but compared to -20, it is) and we went for after work beers on a patio. We sat next to a gigantic snowbank that filled most of the patio. And we soaked in the sunshine until our fingers were too cold to hold our beer any longer. It was enough to remind us what spring feels like, and today is another day much like it - with hopes of reaching +11. Gah! I can't even begin to tell you how exciting this is.

I decided to ditch the sweaters and winter coats for one day, and sport a silk blouse in a hot pink hue and this leopard print coat that I picked up on super sale last year.

I also want to just take a quick minute to thank you all for the love over the last week. As some of you may know my Grandmother passed away last week which was very sad, but I mostly try to think about how amazing it is that she lived 98 happy, healthy years. And I also want to thank you for the birthday love! I also turned the big 3-2 last week, and am feeling very lucky and thankful for all those who helped make it extra special! xo!

and I'm sorry about your loss, losing a grandparent is always so hard since we have all these special memories with them growing up but it sounds like she lived a full life so there's always that to be thankful for :)

  11. The leopard coat is such a great statement piece. I love it!!

I wouldn't think to pair it with such a bright top, but it works. I think I'll give this a shot with some of my own leopard items.
