Weekend Wear

Okay, so this one is a bit of a stretch. We have about 4 feet of snow on the ground, and it's nearly impossible to cross the street without stepping in giant slushy puddles, so nude suede flats are definitely not a realistic option right now. BUT, the beauty of this post is that this is what I'd like to be wearing this weekend, and is no way a reflection of what I'm actually wearing. ;) When I find myself dreaming of spring, I keep being drawn to pinks, nudes, and pale distressed denim. I think you'll be seeing a lot of it this spring around here! Throw in a gorgeous tote bag, a statement watch and pretty little diamond stud earrings and you're all set to go!

I hope you are having an amazing weekend so far! I kicked it off with dinner & drinks with girl friends and an early morning yoga class. I'm not sure what the rest of the weekend holds (besides waking up at the crack of dawn to watch Canada in the gold medal hockey game, duh!) but I'm hoping for equal parts relaxing and fun!

  4. We have more than enough snow and slush here too, but a girl can dream, right?

I'd switch out the flats for some booties and would totally rock this outfit in the snow.

  6. Army shorts require it to light and the reflected light waves reflected from the surrounding landscape roughly the same.
