Nothing like a hot, sunny, 28 degree day in October! What the heck?! I'm not sure what mother nature's got going on, but she seems mighty confused. Part of me loves it, and part of me just wants to fully dive in to sweaters, tights & boots. Either way, this was a pretty glorious day.
I must take a moment for a little public service announcement! Any of you who host your blogs on blogger have probably shared my frustration at one point or another in the quality of your uploaded photos. You take a nice batch of photos, hit upload, and they're suddenly horribly blurry and almost squashed looking. I've struggled with this on & off for years, honestly, but the last few weeks have been exceptionally bad. Well, my friends, after much googling I've finally figured it out! And the answer is nowhere to be found on blogger, strangely enough.
So, go to your Google+ home page. Click the pull down menu under "Home" (on the top left hand side of your screen) and click settings. Scroll down to Photos and UNCLICK "auto enhance photos" - Ta da! That's all there is to it. Unfortunately, it won't fix your photos that you've already posted - you'll have to go back and manually re-upload any photos that are really bugging you in previous posts. But any photo you upload from now on should appear in its original quality! Sweet relief!
