Red/Black

Blazer: c/o Massimo Dutti, Blouse: J.Crew, Skirt: c/o Joe Fresh, Shoes: Steve Madden, Bag: Coach, Sunnies: D&G, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: c/o Stella & Dot

In my pre-teen days I was in love with a book series called The Sleepover Friends. Much like with Claudia in the Babysitters Club, they always gave great descriptions of the characters outfits,  and one of the main characters, Stephanie, was obsessed with red, black & white and everything she wore was in that color palette. I couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic and know that Stephanie would fully approve of this red & black ensemble!

Happy Wednesday, all! Thanks to Annick for the photos!

  2. Haha, that's such a cute story! I loved the Babysitters Club books and my wardrobe took an 80s turn when I read them. My mom didn't love my fashion choices back then!

I love this look and the red/black combo looks great on you!

  10. I was also crazy over red, black, and white (and a big fan of Babysitters' Club and Sleepover Friends!) I did my room in these colors when I was 12... they were the colors of the Red Hot Chili Peppers too! I love this look on you, especially the blazer. I'm off to TO next month and will be hitting up Yorkdale Mall and Massimo Dutti - can't wait!
