Metric is one of those bands that rarely does wrong... so many bands I find have one or two great songs, and the rest are mediocre at best. Metric is consistently good - upbeat without being cheesy and usually perfect for solo rock out sessions in your car.

Metric is so fantastic live. If you haven't seen them I'd absolutely recommend you to do so. Emily Haines is such a freakin' rock star. I want to be her. When I saw them live she was wearing black leather pants and a gold lamé backless crop top. So cool.
