Layering becomes an absolute essential this time of year. My favorite layering piece, if you haven't noticed already, is a simple fitted turtleneck. Perfect for layering under just about everything, including this cozy poncho! Throw on a wool skirt, tights, boots & giant scarf, and you're set! (Well, almost set. Gloves & a coat are also necessary of course, but can't appear in every post!)
On an unrelated note, it's always through blog posts that I realize that it's time to get my hair done... ack. Hey, roots.

I would never have thought to wear a poncho and a skirt - I would have just assumed it would be too bulky and shapeless, but you are more than pulling this off. Storing away for future outfit inspiration!
