Vino

Saturday night I went to "wine night" at a local restaurant with a few of my favorite ladies. Every Saturday night they offer - get this - 5 glasses of wine for $10. Ridiculous. Annnnd, slightly dangerous. But an awesome way to spend a silly night out with the girls.

I figured a girls night out was the perfect opportunity to break out my new sequin skirt from J. Crew! I had been swooning over it for months and months after seeing a few of my favorite bloggers sporting it (Namely Krystal & Taylor) but it sold out before I could justify spending the money on it. Then to my glorious surprise, it was not only re-stocked, but on sale! Sold!

It's definitely a little on the short side, and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to rock it without tights, but it will be at least 3 or 4 months until my legs get to see the light of day (oh, Canadian winter, you're starting to get the best of me!) so I'm sure I'll get a decent amount of wear out of it while we're still in tights season! I'm excited to try to style it more casually - I've never done 'sequins for day' before, so it will be fun to see what I can come up with!

Annnnd, this photo is ridiculous! I laugh every time I look at it. I decided mid shoot that I needed a little hair shake, and Kristin snapped this photo!

I also have to admit that I didn't actually wear these shoes out. But this is what I would have liked to wear, were not buried under a million feet of snow (okay, I'm exaggerating and being a baby). Given the circumstances, I opted for boots instead of my pretty Sam Edelman's!

Hope everyone has a happy week! Thanks to Kristin for the photos! xo.

To my luck I found it on ebay!!! Glad it worked out for you too!
