The Lace-Up Bootie

I tend to get ahead of myself when it comes to seasons, and as soon as I'm in the middle of one I start dreaming of the other. Now that I've had a chance to wear most of my summer dresses, my focus has shifted more towards fall, and my must-haves & wishlists are growing by the day.

Current obsession? The lace-up bootie. I realize I didn't really feature heeled versions here, as I really love the wedge and the flat a lot more. But if you're looking for cute heeled ones, try here & here & here! (Jeffrey Campbell, IRO, Forever21)

While I'm holding off until later in the summer to actually purchase any, I'm really loving number 3. But who am I kidding, I love each and every one of these. And want them. All.

Do you have a favorite? Do you prefer the wedge, flat or heel version of this trend?

  3. I have to admit, I wasn't a fan a few months ago, but it's certainly growing on me. By fall I'll be full throttle in love ;)

  4. Like I mentioned in my post today, I always choose a heeled shoe, even when I shouldn't...I love the way flats look on others (and those JCs are amazing!), but on me, I don't like the look. I feel fatter and frumpier in flats and that I look like I'm walking in flippers. That's right, I can't even walk attractively in flats!
But for you (and most humans), I'm really digging the flat lace-up booties.

  6. I can NOT wait till fall either... it is already creepy into the stores and the layering potential is luring me in!

Since I am on my feet 8-9 hours a day I definately am a flat girl, but with the right wedge I can make it all day as well!
