My Heart Is Beating Like a Jungle Drum

Yet another style challenge from Jessica at What I Wore, this time it's Safari Chic! I've never really done this style before, and wasn't sure I had anything that fit this theme until I started playing around. It's the return of the wrinkly skirt, this time with a little leopard print thrown in!

I get a kick out of the 4th photo in this post, because that face is a genuine 'startled' face - a squirrel hopped on a near-by fence and the noise made me jump! Haha, thought someone was coming around the corner and going to catch me in my little photoshoot!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Thanks so, so much for all of your lovely comments - the love & support I get from you guys is awesome. xo.

  2. i couldn't think of an outfit for that challenge, not one that wasn't too costumey, but you did really well! also, i love that song (jungle drum), first time I heard it was live, and since then it's been one of my favourites :)

p.s your startled face is priceless! haha it's always slightly embarrassing when your photo shoots get broken into... though I guess less so with a squirrel
